I am reminded that, despite everything, I am so very lucky to have three beautiful and healthy kids safe, at school and home, with me to hug and tickle every single day.

I cannot imagine the heartache being felt today by the Porter family and the countless people who lost loved ones in 9/11. I cannot imagine the strength it takes to continue on when those you love are ripped from you forever. I pray, above all else and perhaps selfishly, that I never have to feel that pain.
