Fighting Christmas

Oh my hell--in the age of stupid news, this one takes the cake. Santas in Sydney are now supposed to say "ha ha ha" because using "ho ho ho" might be seen as derogatory to women. Seriously. It's not like they're saying "skank, skank, skank".

And now, Lowe's starts calling Christmas trees "family trees". What is the point of this? Do they think that people who celebrate holidays other than Christmas will suddenly flock to the store now that they call the symbol something different? Do they really think they'll see "family trees" decorating synagogues and mosques this year?
