So last week I had coffee with my friend Steve (who, by the way, if you're ever looking to buy/sell a home, or know someone who is, give him a call--he's truly a nice, trustworthy guy who is an awesome realtor)to talk about my continuing job search. He recommended I pick up a book and do the online test, so I did. The book is called Strengths Finder 2.0 and I highly recommend it -- not only to job-seekers but to parents and others who are looking for insight into how to get along with others.
Anyway, I took the online assessment, and this is the report I got (abridged, of course, because it's long). The report gives you your top 5 "strengths".
#1: Empathy
People who are especially talented in the Empathy theme can sense the feelings of other people by imagining themselves in others' lives or others' situations.
#2: Learner
People who are especially talented in the Learner theme have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites them
#3: Restorative
People who are especially talented in the Restorative theme are adept at dealing with problems. They are good at figuring out what is wrong and resolving it.
#4: Intellection
People who are especially talented in the Intellection theme are characterized by their intellectual activity. They are introspective and appreciate intellectual discussions
#5: Input
People who are especially talented in the Input theme have a craving to know more. Often they like to collect and archive all kinds of information.
Interesting..........but what I really want it to tell me is what I want to be when I grow up :)

Have you ever thought of going into real estate Lisa? Or maybe like a loan officer? I think you would do so well with the public. I hope you find something close to home and soon :)
