I love baking this time of year. I'm such a geek :) Last night I started experimenting with making pumpkin cheesecake--because I've never cared for pumpkin pie I've never even made one of those. But last year, Nicholas tried a sample of pumpkin cheesecake at a store while we were shopping, and he fell in love with it. And he asks for it all year long. So, for my little dude, I thought I'd give it a chance. And while it won't replace some of my other favorites, it's pretty damn good. So, I decided to try to make one. Here's what I made:

In other Wednesday night news, Adam and I half-paid attention to the CMA Awards as we did other stuff. I'm pretty sure Adam has a crush on Carrie Underwood, though he'd never admit it. I can't give him a hard time, though, as I spent the evening drooling over Keith Urban and my new favorite Brad Paisley (insert blushing emoticon here) :)
