So proud of my little guy. He's proud of himself, too, and told me when I was tucking him in that he was the luckiest kid ever because Papa & Grandma came to spend his special day with him. When I responded and said "They must really like you, huh?" his response was "Mom.....they love me. You know that." :)
He also asked me if I was ok with this new big change. See, usually when we go to Communion during Mass, I hold hands with both Nicholas & Erin and they walk up with me. I receive, and then Father blesses both kids. Not any more though....Nicholas will now walk on his own and receive. I thought it was incredibly sweet that he thought about our change in routine and immediately thought to ask if I was ok with it. He's such a sweet little guy.
