Blog Hop--Cards for Heroes

I am participating in my first ever blog hop, for http://www.cardsforheroes.org/. While I do not have a "direct" connection to anyone currently serving in our military, I have friends whose families are making the ultimate sacrifice of missing their spouse/father/mother while they work hard in remote places every day & night to protect all of us here. Cards for Heroes' mission is to support our nation’s armed forces by sending blank greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them. To date 140,875 cards have been sent to our heroes so far!

Photobucket

For my card, I used all Danny-O products from K&Company (I know.....old but still a favorite of mine!) and a sketch from Page Maps
And, just because I hate to be left out of a fun party, I'm going to participate in the give-away fun as well. Simply leave a comment for me and I'll send you a fun package of some of my favorite scrappy supplies. I'll draw a winner at 9:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday (but will tell you right up front that I may not ship your goodies out until the following week--lots going on that might make me run a bit late).
Thanks for visiting my blog....I hope you come back again! Now hop on over to Anita's awesome blog and check out her card. Scroll down and take it all in, too, she has some adorable things posted!
